1LT Audie L. Murphy

biography

Murphy, of Kingston, TX, served in the Army during World War II. He is the most decorated member of the military in World War II. He served with the 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. Murphy earned a battlefield commission and served as a Company Commander.

Serving as radioman for 1LT Murphy was John Rodino, of Pontiac, IL. When asked if he was with Murphy when he recieved the Medal of Honor, Rodino answered "No, but I was with him when he earned it."

This uniform is not Murphy's actual uniform; it is a replica created to honor Audie Murphy and John Rodino.
