pfc bernard m. lyons
biography
Lyons, from Pontiac, IL, served in the Army during World War I. He was twice cited for bravery, once at Villecourdery and again at Creppy. He saw service on three fronts during the war. He was killed by a train on July 19th, 1919 at Nautes, France. He was buried with honors at Odell, IL.
