biography
Albert served in the Army Air Corps, 15th Air Corps. He flew out of Italy and Southern France, flying 50 missions on B-17 bombers at a time when 25 missions would earn you a trip home. The life expectancy of a bomber crew was around 15%; Albert and his crew were very lucky.
