"Wib", from Flanagan, IL, was an Artilleryman (155mm) with the 5th and 7th armies supporting the infantry in Europe. He was also a part of C Battery, 141st FABN. He took part in six major battle campaigns: Naples-Foggia, Anzio, Rome, Southern France, Rhineland, Central Europe.
